Help me here...why is Alabama and Clemson playing in Atlanta - especially in the Georgia Dome?? Is this supposed to be some sort of neutral territory like Jacksonville for the Georgia-Florida game?

Yes that is exactly what it is, just like when Alabama played FSU in Jacksonville last year.
