My coach has never had a problem being accepted in any RV park or campground.
Perhaps you are "aiming to high"?
I refuse to stay at "elitist parks" with discriminatory rules, (and the "snobs" they "allow" stay there).
Besides...I prefer city/county/state parks, COE parks and other inexpensive campgrounds, (where "real people" stay).

Never had any campground ask for the year of our RV. They do ask for size. Stayed at Sherman, TX last year on our way to Lackland AFB with our 1990. Had no problems at all.

Generally those rules are selectively enforced at most places. If your RV looks good no problem for most places.

Where in Texas are you looking, and what kind of park? For how long a stay?

Try River Ranch RVResort in New Braunfels. Although they do have some rules about age of coach, they also are realistic enough to know there are exceptions.

Full disclosure? I lived there for 3 years and worked as camp host last summer. You shouldn't have any difficulty.

Best of luck.

Just come through Texas staying at 4 different parks. But you can check them out before hand in campground books. If they don't want me, I don't want them. My old 98 looks as good as some of the newer ones. I have never been refused to ones I called.
