Getting ready for surgery

We'll be traveling to Birmingham, AL tomorrow to prepare for my colon surgery Thursday. About a year ago my doctor removed a large polyp near the end of my colon. He had me go back for a follow-up colonoscopy last month and found another large polyp in the same place. He did a biopsy and it wasn't malignant, but he says if we let it go that it may develop into cancer.

He is going to remove a small section of my colon using a robot! That's amazing to me how he can make four small incisions, cut out the section, and put the two ends back together using the robot!

We'll be staying in Birmingham until June 24th in the MH. I don't want to get too far from that doctor in case something goes wrong!

Anyway, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers, and put in a good word for me with the Man Upstairs!

God is for you. May He watch over little R2D2 as he and C3PO take care of business.
We will pray for you.
