Good deed

Well I did my good deed for today. A couple was leaving in MH with their awning out and a big oak tree waiting for it.

Yay!

I'm always a little reluctant to speak to people who wave me down in the campground. I've always been pleasantly surprised though. Last person just wanted to chat rigs. If my awning is out and I'm moving though, feel free to toss dirt clods at my windshield until I stop!

We are sitting in Wilmington Thousand Trails park in Wilmington, Ohio right now and the day before we arrived I was told a couple was leaving in their MH. He was driving the MH and she was following in their toad, talking on the phones. It went downhill from there, he left the awning out, went the wrong direction, took out a tall light pole, and ran over a site electrical box, went on down and took out a 2nd tall light pole. When the repair company came in about 4 days later, they found he also had broke the water line under ground at the elbow, so now in came the plumber.
The park had to turn off the water to the area for about 6 hours to affect repairs. The charged him $1350 for the electrical repair then when they found out about the water line it was another $775 for the equipment, time and supplies. So his little error ran a little $2100 for repairs.

Most people today would do a Tic Tok video of the awning getting ripped off and call that a good deed

Bezos went straight up and came straight back down and never once had his hands on the handlebars.
