Loved George Carlin...and miss him! There was wisdom to be found in so much of his material...but sometimes you had to look for it!

She should definitely sue. I think she has a HUGE product liability claim against her Mother. If you produce something that defective you should be held accountable.

Just saw an item in the news a little while ago about some from the same gene pool glued a cap from a bottle of Gorilla Glue to his lip. Said he didn't think it would stick. He proved himself wrong, trip to ER. He now is advising not to try it.

I guess he learned something. Something must be in the water in Louisiana. Hoping it isn't Gorilla Glue.

I read she is a 40 year old school teacher. How'd you like for her to be your kids teacher.

YEP...it stayed put and is staying put for over a month despite numerous hair washing, ER trip and suggestions by Gorilla Glue MFG.

GoFundMe account and pro bono service by some plastic surgeon that claims he can remove the adhesive

She is contemplating SUING the MFG

She was put under anesthesia and the doctor used a three part concoction and it's finally out. And he did it for FREE. Probably wanted to see if he could do it.

His pro-bono services would have been better suited for a burn victim, a cleft lip child, a large growth on face etc etc etc

She should PAY him....isn't that what she has the GoFundMe for
....started the fundraiser on Monday. She raised more than $13,000 in just one day — and by Thursday afternoon, that number surged to $20,577.

WHO are this folks that are contributing??????
Gene Pool is FULL................

This is exactly the reason we have warning labels on stuff, I really like the warning label(s) they put on chain saws, you know there is a reason it is there.

I'd love to know what the doc used.

That stuff was not Gorilla Glue (which is a water activated foaming urethane). Real Gorilla glue would be even worse to get out.

It was gorilla glue spray adhesive, which is just like 3M P90 and many others.

But man, that stuff is a pain to work with. Acetone really doesn't work, nor lacquer thinner. In an industrial setting we used to use MEK. I don't want MEK around me in any large quantity.

On most stuff you push parallel to the surface with your thumbs until you can roll enough up to pick it off, and then just keep dong that over and over.

Honestly, the easy button would have been to just shave the hair off.
