Me, I go out on the back deck with a set of clippers, select a #2 attachment and start cutting. Done in less than five minutes. I would go with a zero attachment but the wife already dislikes the #2.
Sounds like me and the beautiful Mrs Gypsy! I run the #2 from the front, then from the back, then from both sides and it is done. No mirror required. She hates it! But after I mow it down, she will grudgingly trim around the edges to "clean up the lines." I don't have to worry too much about the wind in my hair any more....

Meets all quarantine requirements, although here in Georgia, the Governor allowed haircutters, tattooists, and gyms to open last Friday. Restaurants opened this week for sitting down inside too.

I am also in dire need of a haircut! I've got a "fro" going that makes me feel that I am stuck in the 70s!

I started cutting my son's hair when he was just 1 year old (34 years old now). I also cut and permed my wife's hair, from the day we got married (35 years ago). When the son turned around 18, he wanted to go to a barber. I said OK. The wife wanted more "pampering" and started going to a beauty salon. My wife has always cut my hair, from our beginning.

Well, shortly before the virus "thing" happened, my son wanted me to give him and his 6 year old boy a haircut (they live with us). So I did. I did the 6 year old first and the clippers worked just fine. Did the son second and they died. Those clippers were probably ... well ... 35 years old! I pulled out the dog clippers and they just wouldn't cut people hair.

So my wife went on Amazon and ordered a new set of Waln clippers, for about $39.00 ish something. Right after that, I mean, like the next day.... LOCKDOWN! It took about 3 weeks, but we finally got the new clippers.

We've been giving each other hair cuts ever since. My son finally did his son's hair, and it actually looked pretty good.

You're welcome to come over to my house, I'll make an effort to zap your hair too!

Hair cut?

Remember the Groucho Marx show “you bet your life” ? The mortician can cut your hair, do nails and apply makeup.

I've been going to our local barbershop for many years run by an older gentleman who is past old enough to retire, but he is an institution, (you know the old time stereotypical barbershop). He is closed , and my fear is that he may never reopen, probably become another business casualty of this situation. My wife's cousin is a hairdresser and done her hair for years, she just underwent emergency bowel resection, so the DW and I might be doing each others, too,

I called my barber to ask when he would open up. He said "not until I can get a roll-off delivered, so I have a place to dump all the hair the first month I'm open".
