Handle to correct Classifications for MH & Trailers
I do not know and have never been able to put a handler on all the names and classifications of Motor Homes, trailers. I maybe would do a bit better with a chart. I have never seen a chart on this subject.
Motorhome Classifications. Some folks I have learned do not take it well when you or I knowingly or unknowingly classify a Motorhome to there understanding. I say this not to rock the trailer but to find answers.
So please, I am only trying to clarify my own overall understanding. yep, I saying this very cautiously.
Any and all PDFs on this are welcome.
Super-Class A:
Large-Class A:
Class A:
Class C:
Class B+:
Class B:
and
TRUCK CAMPER:
Sleeper:
What did I leave out?
I am only referring to "MOTOR" Homes above.
Where would a Mercedes-Benz Marko Polo, and METRIS Vans be in this classification system? But if someone creates there own driveway/backyard version can it just be called a Conversation, is it still a TRUCK or Class A, B, or C.....or just referred to as a conversation vehicle.
Trust me, I'm not trying to open a can of worms as some see this subject as secrete ground. Some find this a simple answer that everyone should understand without question. I have never seen any chart/listing coming from any credible source. So I'm stuck with what others refer to calling stating any kind of classification line for Motorhomes.
Now Trailers seem to be somewhat strat forward. As they go by the foot.
