Lynne, I know you bought your RV.

But in answer to your original question, I have bought 3 of the 6 coaches I've owned sight unseen.

The important thing is to do your homework, know what you are looking at and what it should look like. As for lots of photos, pictures of damage and ask lots of questions. Unfortunately, many of us including myself, learn what to ask the next time. Thankfully, my homework has helped me with most of them.

>>>I have also seen Monaco's I like and Pace Arrows. So could you please comment on that.<<<

In my HMO the best years of Monaco were 2001 - 2006/7 ish. If they were well maintained since new, they are great buys, pound per dollar. The real key to buying one of that era, is if it was always stored inside as that will mean all the rubber hoses ( there are lots ) and slide seals will be in good shape. All that rubber is expensive to replace. Also the interior will not be sun faded. Heat kills the interior of motorhomes that are stored outside and all closed up. BUT there are lots of differences between the various models. Do your home work and know the hierarchy.

>>>I don't understand the importance of the chassis. Is this the frame and what are they looking for.<<<

This is especially important to know the differences Roadmaster Motorhome Chassis Forum - iRV2 Forums ....I would not buy sight unseen. I think you have more homework to do.... Good luck in your search
