Make sure your headlight switch is turned all the way to headlight and not just parking lights with the daytime running lights on in the headlamp. Same symptoms . Ask me how I know!

By law, driving lights may only function with high beam headlamps, at least in Indiana. Fog lights OTOH may legally work all the time.

That was a good reply because engine was always running so I tried turning headlights on with key off and they don't work when I had switch out it didn't go back in properly so all I need is a headlight switch thanks that was great

Nice coach, and welcome to the forum. On our 01 Imperial the driving lights work separate from the headlights, weather on high beams or not. Our coach had headlight switch problems with the previous owner according to the records that came with it. Our coach had the daytime running lights on it when we got it and it looks like it was wired that way from the factory.

Seems like I need a headlight switch too. I think the previous owner when he brought coach into Canada had daytime runners put on but I'm not impressed with the wiring and the running lights only work on high beam. I will fix this though. Yes I love my imperial before this one we had a 1993 imperial diesel pusher for 5 years that's the only rig I will own.
