Good for you, keep up the battle. The cravings ease as the days go by. DW and I both quit the same day 10 years and 3 months ago. It was a rough stretch but we were determined. Once you make up your mind and are dedicated to it it will happen. Best of luck to you, we are all rooting for you.

GREAT news! I quit 32 years ago and never looked back. It WILL get easier. I now have friends who smoke and even though I find it irritating, have never had the urge to join them. So hang in there and pat yourself on the back and continue to look forward. We have a house and vehicle rule. no smoking in either by anyone. People can smoke in the back yard if they so choose.

This is good News. I quit about 20 years ago with the help of Nictine patches for a week. I'm glad I have that expensive and often deadly monkey off my back. Hang in there as there may be rough times... don't give in to any cravings.

I quit in '05 after having smoked for longer than you have lived. Wasn't easy, I'd quit a thousand times before I was finally successful. Now, I don't think about them, I don't miss them. Hang in there!!!

Food tastes better, you can smell things again and your clothes don't stink.
