For specific Frequent Fueler Program incidents:
1. where you do not feel the cash price and discount were received

2. card could not be registered, etc.
Please send as much of the following information as possible to RV@pilotflyingj.com
a. Your RV Real Value or Frequent Fueler number.
b. The transaction number from your receipt.
c. A short narrative explaining your concern.
d. The names of PFJ people you talked to.
e. Date and place the transaction occurred.

Members can still post here broader questions where it may be possible to answer them without me being a middle man and just passing information back and forth.
Gary,

I really don't understand your post here. Are you saying we cannot ask Lynsay any more questions on this forum? That would be most unfortunate.

You have been a great middle man but my registration with PFJ is still not happening and I would like to know why. If I cannot ask here I will contact Lynsay direct. Just tell us what we should do.

Lynsay, Thanks for the instructions. I had previously registered my pilot and FJ cards for pump start but did not know how to use it. After several frustrating stops at FJ. I ran across a link to this topic in the Alpine Forum. I followed your instructions and all 4 FJ stops on my return trip from CA worked flawlessly. I was able to start the pump and get my discount without a hitch.

A very stark difference from my trip out to CA.

Linsay:

Thanks for trying to sort all this out. I have a related question:

In AZ there are different tax rates on fuel between commercial trucks (semi's) and personal vehicles (RV's and autos). PFJ does not advise incoming traffic that if they use the truck lanes, they will be taxed at the higher rate.

I have received various results when asking store personnel (Ehrenberg, Quartzsite, Eloy). Never have I been charged the correct price. Store personnel state they cannot adjust the pricing, after the fact. Some claim I just need to know which lane to use. Some times it's the first two lanes, sometimes one side, sometimes the other.

That aside, the location in Rancho Mirage/Indio, CA says use Lane 1 or 2 (no signage) for any discount, then only gives 1 cent off, given as a cash refund. (BTW that is illegal according to the issuing banks.)

What gives?

I love the convenience and the ease of entry/exit. I agree the stations are way filthier than ever before and personnel are untrained (all locations I've used), and often unfriendly (in Indio). I'm rooting for you, though!!!

Actually, the restaurant coupons are good to use once a day throughout the entire month. With that, the coupon you print is only good for 24 hours from when you print (hence the 5/4/11) expiration date when you log on today. You can always print out these coupons directly at the store from the driver kiosk (usually located near the diesel door entrance), so you don't need to bring a printer with you! Just swipe your RV card and put in your password - which is your phone # that you registered. Then you can print your coupon.
Thanks...Good information I didn't know the Kiosk was Free for use and for printing.

Actually I don't know what a Kiosk looks like. I have been using Flying J for over 10 years and have never needed to look for one or use it.

Hi akadeadeye,
I was told Lynsay PMed you with the information I posted in post 186. Does that information close your concern?

If not, then please follow the instructions to send all possible information about your individual concern to RV@pilotflyingj.com

Processes evolve over time. To protect everyone's security and privacy Lynsay and I do not have the ability to access your personal account and determine the root cause of a problem. PFJ staff monitoring the above mentioned email address have this capability. They will solve the problem and communicate directly with you, via email. This eliminates one and possibly two middle persons who now add no value to the process.

If you do not receive a response or get an incorrect response communicating that here would be appropriate.

Lynsay and GaryKD,

Thank you for your help. I did finally receive an email and completed the online registration process so I guess I am good to go.

HOWEVER, when I did complete the process, it issued me a card number that does not match the one I got at the store. I did "add" the number on the card I received at the store so now there are two card numbers on my account. One that I have in my hand and I have no idea about the other card number. Should I just delete it?

It seems that there are two registration processes. One online and one at the store at the kiosk and they appear to be separate and not tied together.

Hi akadeadeye,
I am pleased to read that you have the information needed to receive benefits from the PFJ Frequent Fueler Program. The additional question in post 217 needs to be sent to RV@pilotflyingj.com .

Provide all the information you can and they will close the concern directly with you.

ALCON:

Heads up that the FJ in Commerce, GA will not honor the Frequent Fueler Card. Stopped there yesterday and was given an "no way Jose" -- we are now privately held and do not honor any discount cards.

Bummer, I filled anyway as did not want to stop again for a few hours.

Is that the FJ/Patriot Farms location?

Gary--
Haven't yet tried the card, but online it does appear as activated. Thanks.

Lindsay,

RE: Card # 790006672014

How about a little help registering my Flying J R.V. Real Value Club card, that I’ve had for 10+ years?

I went to your web site and tried to register. The site would not accept my phone number that I’ve had for 14 years. No problem, I used a fake number, using the current area code associated with that zip. (The phone company split the area codes up for the Phoenix metro area years ago and all cell numbers retained the original area codes. I have only a cell phone.)

OK, I now have a user name and password. I log in, go to add card, enter my card number and up pops Loyalty Cards window and states “Card # is already registered.” “Tell us:”, with a drop down box defaulted to “< Card # was registered with >” and
“Postal Code” the only option to change that box to. Well, I get red error message “Incorrect Information” when I enter 5 digit zip code or my zip + 4 in that box and click “SUBMIT.“

I haven’t yet been to a Flying J kiosk. Do I need to register there also or just the web site?

Also, you stated to use the phone number as a kiosk password in post #209. So, on line use the login password and at the kiosk use the pone number? Am I understanding this correctly?

Where do I go from here to finish my registration process?

Hi Happycarz,
My recommendation is:
1. Your working with the on line method, do not try the kiosk.
2. Go to post #1. Take the information provided in your post and the details of your registration (fake number, real number, etc.) send all the information to the email address in post #1. The staff that monitors this email has the ability to go into your account and make it correct.

Today I stopped to fuel up at the I75 Exit 2 GA.
They had newer pumps at the RV Island then the last time I was there.

I put my debit card in and it ask for my Pin Number.
Then It ask me to swipe my RV Card.
Then the pump stopped at $75 no receipt was printed.
I went inside and waited to get a receipt and ask how I can get more fuel without having it stop at $75 as I still needed more then another $75.

Customer service lady check my RV Card to see if it had pump start. It did. She said just use the RV card to start pump and then come in to pay.

I went out and swiped my RV card and the Pump said see cashier.

I tried that twice and both times were the same.
So I then swiped a CC & then the RV card. Pump didn't shut off at $75 with it.
Then back inside to wait in line for a receipt.
You would think the printer in the pump could do the same receipt as inside.

I did get the cash price and the 3˘ discount both times.
Have 2 receipts for $195 worth of fuel.
Just glad no one was waiting behind me as I had to make those 2 trips inside plus the waiting in line.

I also printed off that Pilot/Flying J 15% restaurant discount coupon.
Had a great breakfast and went to pay. Handed her my coupon and found out it is not good at the Denny's.

I showed her my old RV card and she said I can have a 10% discount with it.

Tomorrow I will need fuel again in Northern GA. But in the area I need some. Murphy's is 11˘ a gal cheaper then the nearest Flying J.
So I will use my loaded Walmart Gift Card.

And it looks like my next stop in IN. Murphy's has Flying J beat by 28˘
