Just saw on the news that part of the reason for blackout in Texas is that the windmills are freezing and not turning. The gas furnace and woodburners are keeping us comfy here, just like the do every year.

Little Rock Arkansas is 14 right now down to zero tonight. Hydrohot is keeping bay temp at 60 degress and coach at 72. 10 inches of snow on the ground and 10 more for Wednesday I thought 2020 was over.

I woke up to -17°F this morning near Castle Rock, CO. Happy I wasn't in Crook CO halfway between Sterling and Julesburg in the NE corner of the state where it was -33°F. That's 5° COLDER than at the North Pole last night.[emoji3063]
Our Cargo Heat 3000 went Tango Uniform two days ago and all our pipes are frozen up despite having 500 watts of heat lamps shining on the bottoms of our tanks, 125 watts of heat lamp shining on our pump and plumbing in the water bay, 75 watts of heat lamp shining on the back of our water heater, a 250 watt ceramic cube heater blowing on our bathroom plumbing and a 750 watt ceramic heater blowing on our kitchen plumbing. Whaddya gonna do?[emoji856]

It was 15 when I got up this morning. For some of you that's short-sleeve weather, but for a MS boy, that's COLD! Brrrrrr

5 inches of snow and still coming. 12 degrees (coldest so far this year)
And we are loving it. (we lived in S. Florida for 36 years) enough of that sunshine and moist heat for us.
