How Many Corvette Owners
Just curious as to how many of us here have the Corvette disease?
Have you been to the National Corvette Museum and the Plant in Bowling Green?
I was just there and loved it,,,Almost made me run right out and buy a new one!
Anyway I have a Black 86 convertable and love every minute of it!
Regards,
RovinOn

HAD a '63 split window coupe for 16 years, took delivery in Oct, '62 - brand new! Sold it after theft of OE parts and leaving it unattended anywhere became too much of a problem. Did not have a secure place to park it at the time.

Have a 1999 coupe and my sister lives in Bowling Green so yes I have been to the museum. Had a chance recently to see the new ZR1 with 638 hp what and awesome machine. Like the LS1 engine so much that I've installed one in my 1984 CJ7 Jeep and should have it on the road my early next year.
Any of you trailer your Vet behind your motorhome. Would like to have and enclosed trailer and take mine with we me sometime.

I sold my 1962 because I was tired of polishing. Then I bought my recent 2006 Journey and found out that the polishing never ends. I miss the Vette.

Had a dark grey '77. Sold it in '86. Had 3 kids in 3.5 years and needed to build onto the house. Couldn't store the vet anymore. I miss it.

Lotta great Vettes listed here! Glad to hear of them!
wthomas1, Sammie, Those are the years of my dreams! Those were the ones that started my affection to the Corvette! I had the chance to purchase a 1960 all original from the original owner. The deal was to good to be true and I had a fit of stupidity and didn't buy it! It wasn't the color I wanted and it wasn't a 4 speed!

I bought my 60 in 1983 out of a storage place. It came home on a car trailer and 3 pickup loads of boxes. My wife and the neighbors looked at me like I was crazy. It took 3 years to find the missing parts and get it all assembled. It was painted in my neighbor's garage. The grandsons love to ride in it, especially at cruises and in parades.
