How much beer.. ?

How much beer a Canadian can bring in the state if he’s planning to stay 5 months.
Can you point to me a good dark beer.
thanks

Beer in the US is cheap, compared to Canada.
Don't bring more than you need for a few days
till you get to a store here.

Oh I Love My "BEER"

Google: CBP INFO Center

Looks to me there is room for loop-holes, and interpretation.
Be sure you are reading Canadian Requirements! Not what a US Citizen is allowed.
Hope that helps,
Also googled your beer brewer and yes in 2011 the Bud Company began brewing three of the brews, a number of states carry the brand, my liquor store here in Southern Maryland is one. I will check and update my post domani.

If I am not mistaken, 1case without paying a duty(tax) on it. I am not sure if it is 1 case per person or per vehicle. Search for crossing the border into the US and see what turns up.

Yuengling Black & Tan from the oldest continuously run, family owned brewery, in the USA. Yuengling is located in eastern Pennsylvania with a new brewery in Tampa, FL.

Unless you just can't live without your Canadian brew, leave it behind. There's a plethora of great beers here in the states. For a dk beer, I'm fond of Sam Adams Black Lager. Many dk beers are too bitter for me (i.e Guinness), but SA isn't like that. Tom's recommendation is also good....& cheaper than the SA I prefer. I also like Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald because I'm partial to my home state craft brew.

For Sam Adams' first 3 or 4 years of existence ALL their beer was brew by Pittsburgh Brewing in Pittsburgh. Sam Adams did not have a brewery when they started. That was a long time ago.

When we were up at Cape Breton, Nova Scotia last year, the cheapest beer was $12.99 per six pack plus 15% sales taxes. Canadian beers are far superior to most mass manufactured beer in the U.S., however.

When U.S. beer hit $5 a six pack, I cut back on my intake. If I lived in Canada, I'd be a complete tee-totaler.
