I can't believe I did it.
I actually told the daughter she and her family can use the MH for the week end. BUT! They ain't drivin' it. I'll drive it to the camp ground and set it up and come back get it. There is also a 347 item list of do's-n-don't's
The wife put an extra pillow in the recliner and has checked my temperature. I have received numerous phone calls checking on my well being. Doctors office called asking if I'd like to make an appointment.
I'm sitting here now looking out the office door at the Lil' Southwind. It is saying, "No, daddy. Don't let them take me." And I reply, "Its just for a couple days, baby." OMG! He's talking to his MH......... And its talking back.
I'm going to take my medication and sit in the recliner. I'll watch a little TV and pretend I didn't tell someone they can use my Lil' Southwind.

And it's a 3-day holiday weekend at that. What were you thinking? Can you Skype with them so you can be sure she's (i.e. Lil' Southwind) is ok? It's gonna be a long weekend for you I feel. Be brave.

347 items? That should help occupy her weekend. Oh, ulterior motive huh. Keep her on the phone with you so you may monitor your baby. Smart thinkin.

I can understand how you feel but just chill... it'll all be fine. They're making memories and with you doing the driving, set up and break down what can go wrong?

Well. I drove Lil' Southwind to the campground and set him up. Gave the daughter and son-in-law the tour. And the 347 item list. They promised to read it later.
We were done about noon. At 10:00 P.M. the wife said it was time to go home. And the kids were suggesting it was bedtime. Everyone said it would be O.K. Just go home and come back Monday. They lead me away to the car. Wiped the drool from my chin and the tear from my eye. It felt like a long trip home. Its only Midnight. I'm thinking about calling to see if Lil' Southwind is O.K.
Come on Monday.

Years ago someone told me:
"95% of what we fear never comes to pass".
Of course, 5% still leaves something to worry about................
