I10 at LA and Texas has been shut down

I just would like for others to know as of 9:00 AM on March 15,2016 I10 at LA and Texas state lines has been Shut down both East and West bound sides due to the Sabine River flooding. At this hour I haven't heard when it is expected to reopen. Many travelers are on Spring Break this week and just thought some would like to know.

Good information. It appears to be still closed. Louisiana DOT has info on Twitter and Facebook as well as Louisiana 511 Traveler Information

Thanks for posting

Good thing that is not a major thoroughfare, and this shouldn't affect too much travel and commerce...

That is about an hour east of me. And we got TONS of rain last week. Lots of flooding around here. And they got it even worse the further east the storm went.
