I could and I did, 31 years in the Fire Service. Best job in the world, worst job in the world, and everything in between.

My friend gave it up about 3 years ago, then he went to work Wed & Sat at another clinic, and also works for the state at the Dog Track about 2 or 3 days a week. I don't think he wants to go back to owning the clinic, but he sure does enjoy fishing on his days off.

Being totally retired is hard work. You never know when you are finished.

If I had to go back to work (on/off highway log hauler), I think I would opt for Hugh Heffners job. He He. Probably resort to Walmart greeter in reality!

My ultimate job would be one of those "job creators" I keep hearing about on the news. I would "manage" all my employees.

Their jobs would be to "serve" me.
