Innovation for RV manufacturers (from Facebook)

Maybe this has been posted before. If not it sure looks like some innovation that the RV industry could use. Maximizing small spaces with sturdy well thought out utilization.

There is truly some amazing stuff there. I like the way things can stay on the shelves or on the desk when it is folded out into a bed. And everything seems to work so effortlessly - sometimes with only one finger.

The only problem I see is the narrator said one bed mechanism weighed 450 lbs, which may be a bit excessive for use in RVs; but maybe some of the designs could be simplified and made lighter.

There are a ton of applications that could be used in an RV. The only potential downsides that I can see are weight and being able to anchor the units closed while going down the road. I would anticipate that those could be easily overcome.

Actually I watched the video w/o sound so I did not hear the weight. In an RV you can just secure to the frame since things do not move from their location say as you would move things around in a home for decorating etc; I just like the careful thinking and designing for purpose found in this stuff.
