Insurance help

So a few weeks ago I posted that I finally joined the diesel family. About a week later my truck got rear-ended by a drunk driver and my truck was totalled. All ok physically thanks to having a bigger truck. The problem is now with the other driver's insurance. They're offering my 9k for my truck. Yes it is older, 2000 f250 7.3 ext cab 2wd 150k, clean of a truck as you could ever find. I have receipts for almost everything and the stuff I don't, I can find on the Internet. The big things added were a $1700 A.R.E camper shell, 98gal transfer Flo fuel system, and a $1000 exhaust with turbo brake.
Its an xlt trim and the comps they've given me are base level and the comps I've given them are lariat (all I could find) and they claim that's not fair. Anyway I can't find a truck like this with the low miles for less than 13, 500. And that's without any aftermarket equipment.
Does anyone have some info for me that can help me increase this amount so that I can actually purchase another truck?

Don't accept their offer. Give them documentation in writing of the cost to replace with like kind and quality, then add your accessories. Negotiations to a fair settlement is what you're after. Tell them that you're not trying to make money, but want to be made whole again.

Try and live up to your dogs opinion of you.

I would think your insurance company should negotiate on your behalf for a fair settlement. Unless, of course; they are the same company.

I have sent them all documentation and while it may seem like I'm asking a lot, I'm not. I asked to speak with an individual who knows trucks because the one they gave me didn't know what an auxiliary fuel tank was and said my $1500 system was worth 100
