Inverter/Charger Problems

2018 Ventana 40'TAG
Had a power failure at the campground this weekend. When the power came back on, the Inverter control panel is showing a failure 3.4V and blinking. Voltage tested at the battery bank is 13.6V. The readout shows Dead Charger Battery and there is no 120V to operate the appliances or internal receptacles. Incoming power to the coach monitored by a surge/voltage protector is good, 120v on each leg showing on the control panel and the A/Cs work. What else should I check before condemning the Inverter.

A few tests

With a multimeter in DCV mode, I would start at the inverter DC connection and test voltage. Test until you find the 13v that the batteries see. The last place with bad voltage is likely the issue. My guess is a blown fuse. Also not a bad idea to turn any AC and DC breakers off then on again. Sometimes these will blow partially cutting out power but not visually showing they have blown.

Cheers,

First check the circuit breakers on the inverter and reset. If that doesn't cure the problem, then unplug the control panel from the inverter, wait a couple of minutes and reconnect

Thanks everyone for your comments. I ran some checks and found a 3rd positive take off from the battery bank hidden under a bunch of wires all tied in place over the terminal. That terminal was corroded and causing the low voltage supply to the Inverter. Cleaned it all up with baking soda and wire brush, reconnected and all is well. Thanks all.
