Is There a Speed Limit for Ice Fisherman

We rented a cabin on the lake since we didn't think spending the winter in the Scamp in Wisconsin would be advisable. The lake has suddenly started to resemble a porta potty convention gathering. Not being an ice fisher person I don't forsee taking up the opportunity to fish out my back door. Besides the last time I fished in Wisconsin it was an expensive camping trip. Sometimes it pays to be a dumb, ex-blonde otherwise I would have been spending the rest of the trip dressed in orange.

Anyway, I am watching these guys drive their pickups on the lake (my husband volunteered to take my Jeep out there) and wondered what constituted how fast to drive on the ice? Fish or beer?

The only thing crazier than driving on a lake is sittin' there waiting for a fish. Beer in a warm bar is safer and more comfortable...

This can't be a troll thread 'cause how could you troll in an icehole???

Yeah, that's why there are so many around the lake.

sadiebug, you and DW need to come on south. We put ice in our drinks, not our lakes.
