Is there ANYTHING that you can't buy on Amazon?
I'm continually amazed at what all can be found on Amazon! I have yet to not find something I need!
Have you needed anything that they did not have?

Micro Air easy start.
Two weeks just to process the purchase and ship....
I wish I could have ordered it on Amazon!

But, not always the cheapest price.
And many "replaces" vs OE parts. Be careful out there.

Yup, you have to watch that "replaces" catchword, but that's true on any internet site!

Happiness … that’s just a guess, I haven’t actually searched for it.

Brick and mortar as well. Most parts at any auto parts store are not OE.

YOU can buy almost anything on Amazon. I say 'YOU' because I'm not an Amazon shopper. It may cost a little more but I prefer to do business locally and support the local stores and employees.
I turned down several jobs where people brought a trunk load of parts they bought from Amazon and wanted me to install them on their car or truck. Sorry, go somewhere else.
Small businesses stoke the fire in the economy here in a smaller town where we need to keep the locals employed. If these locals are out of a job they won't be coming into my business. The larger stores like Walmart employ local people so yes, I will shop there on occasion.

Well, I saw the subject line, "Is there ANYTHING that you can't buy on Amazon?" and immediately thought of guns and ammo. I search Amazon for other things and sometimes get better pricing elsewhere. For instance, I recently bought a set of motorcycle tires for a bit less than Amazon, but Amazon had them. I buy my oil and filters from Amazon or Walmart online, though, and get a better price and they bring it to me with no charge for shipping.
It is amazing, though. I often buy stuff from Amazon just to keep from having to drive to the store to get it. Price is usually a bit less, and it usually shows up in two days.

Selling regulated items has lots of compliance issues that could result in revocation of licenses or permits. Shipping of regulated items also is regulated...
But what Amazon does for me it to put a vast array of things at my fingertips and allows me to order in reasonable quantities.
I needed a small elastic stop nut, about 200 of them for a project. My local industrial fastener shop had them with a min order of 1,000 pieces. I could get a few of them at stores with the Yellow Trays at great mark up, and 200 would require a special order. In 5 minutes I had a confirmed order with Amazon.
I prefer to shop local merchants and suppliers first, for all the reasons mentioned above, but if it takes me a half hour on the phone to find $10 worth of parts those now cost a whole lot more.

I fight hard to avoid Amazon. My wife not so much, my daughter and her husband would probably live by Amazon ahd one of those food delivery services if they could get away with it.
