Just A Mom?????

I can't stand it when people say, "You're Just A Mom?" Yes, I am a Mom! That makes me an alarm clock, cook, maid waitress, teacher, nurse, referee, handyman, security officer, photographer, counselor, chauffeur, event planner, hair dresser, personal assistant, ATM & I scare away the boogie man. I don't get paid holidays, sick pay or days off.I work DAY & NIGHT. I am on call 24/7 for the rest of my life. That's JUST BEING A MOM!!! I may not be anything to you, but I am everything to someone!!!

MOM'S will do ANYTHING on this planet for their child..........

Sonny,

Just like a Dad may be a "Fireman" but he also does the lawn, cleans the gutters, shovels snow, takes kids to softball, football, and sometimes coaches. Takes us camping and starts this whole RV thingy, teaches us manners, to be truthful, how to be a man and how a man should treat a lady.

Love my Dad even though he has been gone 30+ years and my Mom only 4. Miss them both.

Well there are Moms and there are Moms.. Mine not only raised 4 kids of her own (And I think we mostly turned out rather well, I have a sister who is a retired state employee as am I, another sister who is a lawyer, and a Brother who is a retired semi driver) but helped raise a few others as well, She was a very good musician (Wish I'd had her teach me Piano) and at one time the only Female head of accounting in Michigan. I could go on and on, but "Just a housewife" was never a phrase I'd use to describe her.. Wonder Woman... Might fit better. I truly miss her.
