new-to-rving: Hey, THANKS for this link to the Hubble site. Been out smoking my pipe in the COLD Arizona desert nights, looking at the stars and wanting to know which I'm looking at. Thanks again. Steve & Lynette

What a great site, send it to all the grandkids I think they will love it. They all live in the Northern NJ area and get to much light at night to really see he stars except for the brightest ones.

Thanks for the link. I lived in northern Wisconsin for four years and we were treated to beutiful star lit skies almost every night. We now live in PA about 40 miles from Philly. The skies are not as bad as when I lived in Chicago but nothing like WI. Although I didn't really know what I was looking at I really miss it.

If you like looking up and not in the mood for an expensive telescope for a few bucko's a month you can join http://SLOOH.com a robotic pair of telescpoes in the Canary Islands. They offer a free trial subscription and if the weather is not good those nights they extend the trial for you. It takes some getting used to but great for youngsters and us old folks alike.
