Losing my mind, and everything else...

This is a therapy post for me to admit I'm losing my mind.

Yesterday I decided I would make one of the rotating PVC flag poles you see at many camp sites. I went to Ace hardware and purchased all of the necessary items. When I got back to the RV I only took out the 10' long PVC pipe since it was going all the way up to the front of the dash and left the rest of the items in the car...I thought.

Today I went out and cut the PVC to the required lengths and then went to get the bag with the other items. The metal rod was in the back of the car but that was it. I have looked through the car several times and the RV inside and out as well as the bays. Even called Ace to see if I left it there. As of now, I have absolutely no clue.

Anyhow, since I seem to be lacking the parts to continue and don't think looking through the car again will result in different results, I thought I would let someone know I am losing my mind before it is totally gone and I'm not even capable of doing that.

Elf, I will check my Jeep for any stray ACE Hardware bags and I will also look around the Moho for your glasses AZ Bound. Meanwhile if you guys would keep an eye out for the clamshell nightlight my wife seems to have misplaced I'd sure be appreciative. I've been hearing about it for two months now and finding it would sure be a godsend.

Albert Instine (hope I have that spelled right) once said; you know your crazy if you keep repeating the same mistakes, over and over, and expect different results each time.

Whenever I can't find something, I look in the fridge.

Twilite Zone had a show that explained it all. We live on a stage and move to a new set every thirty minutes. Sometimes the stage crew overlooks an item when setting up.A few sets later they notice and place the item on the set. That is why you look for something but it is not there. A couple hours later you walk in and there it is.

I'm hoping when, if I find the bag I'll find all of those missing socks in the same place.

I once lost a Zippo lighter in Germany when I was in the Army. About a year later it turned up on my pillow, in my locked room in Fort Riley, KS. Never did figure that one out.
