Bob, my deepest condolences.
Even though my copilot is the most directionally challenged person I know, I hate to go anywhere without her company. She just makes me relax with her in that copilot seat. I have thoughts that if something happened to her, could I go on. I sincerely hope that you find peace and continue to enjoy RVing.
Doug

I am the OP. After reading all the posts regarding my loss, I have to say the folks in the RV world are the most kind, thoughtful and sincere group I have ever been associated with. The kind words and condolences you all express fill my heart with comfort and offer some direction. I'm told each day is a little easier so I shall wait anxiously for that day of acceptance, but today it's still denial. Again, thank you all for being such an awesome group.

Bob:

Grief and loss never ends when we lose our loved ones. I think time wears them down a little each year, but its so difficult, especially those closest to us. Words are utterly useless when it comes to my expression to your loss, at least that's my experience. So all I can do is offer you this. There are people who have experienced loss that know, understand and FEEL the pain you are in now.

Prayers, time, memories and the knowledge you are not alone in your loss seem to help, but I really feel terrible and ill at soul for you. God Bless and Keep You.

Make no decisions about your future travels immediately, let time tell you what is best.

Man. To be blunt, that sucks. It hurts me to read your pain. I can only fear when I (Or DW) get to experience it. In an effort to look at the positives of it, not to minimize it--I pray you can rest easy knowing that you had the chance to say goodbye. To know she loves you as much as you love her. To have enjoyed time together and had that chance is beyond valuable.

Deepest condolences on your loss.

Bob;

Bev and I offer our heartfelt sympathy for your loss. We are best friends and I can't imagine the difficulty of trying to travel with the co-pilot seat empty. We will pray for you and your family and hope you will in time continue this great lifestyle.

Bob..I have emailed you.
Barbara was an amazing woman and the love you had for each other was very open and visible to anyone who saw the two of you together.

I will not tell you the pain will go away- because I do not think it will- but the people who care about you will help you get through this tremendous loss. Count me in this group...I left you a new phone number- please use it.

My prayers and thoughts are with you, my friend...

My thoughts, my prayers, and my compassion go with you, my friend. Loss is not an event, it's a change of life, and not an easy one. I could not imagine going through this world without the love and support of those I love. I am praying for your comfort.
