May Surprise

For those of us who were driving on I-80 in Central PA yesterday afternoon, there was quite a surprise awaiting us. We got into a pretty bad snow storm between the Clearfield and Penfield exits. We got off in Penfield and the snow continued all the way to almost the NY line going North. I really didnít expect white knuckle driving from DC to Buffalo in May, but thatís what we got!

Welcome back to NY. We didn't get any of that snow up here but two weeks ago I took the snowblower off my tractor and parked the blower for the summer. The next morning I woke up to 5" of pretty white stuff. It was mostly gone by early afternoon.
It's not mid June yet so anything can happen around here.
Glad to hear you made it home safely.

Glad to hear you made it to your destination...
RV's are not made for snow. (Or, much good in the rain for that matter...)
I used to cringe when I had to drive in anything, other than sunshine... My 18,000 Class A in the rain was like being on ice when trying to stop in the rain... I've only once driven in he snow and on that trim (March 2015) I gave up after twenty miles on I-84 in Wilkes-Barre, and parked it for the day...

Did you come up I-99 or I-81 to 80? The trip up 219 could have been interesting. I think Iíd have found a place to park for the night. But then we had flurries thus morning on top of the hills.
