May we never forget!

For the husband who phoned his wife to say I love you one last time before his plane crashed. For the wife who stopped in the stair well to call her husband and say I will love you forever. For the mommy's and daddy's who kissed their kids goodbye in the morning and died that day. For the policemen who rushed in to help the firemen only to die themselves. For the soldiers who have fought the battle ever since that day and lost their lives. We remember them all today...... 16 years on..... RIP ♥ #9/11

X+n!

Drove down there exactly one week later, saw the devastation, watched a crane load beams from flatbed trailers to barges. At that time was running a satellite (big dish) at home and they setup a camera 24 hours a day on ground zero, it ran for well over a month 24x7. I could never forget...

Those that perished that day will be missed, always remembered, and never forgotten. The cost of freedom unfortunately comes at a high price and is never free. Thank the Lord there are those who willingly step forward to help and protect in our times of need.

I must agree with all of the posters so far. It is in my brain as I watched the second plane hit the tower. That image is one of the worst that I have embedded in my mind. All I could think was that we just entered WWIII. I had the same sinking feeling I had when I hit in country VietNam.
Another thing I will take to the Grave.......

i will never forget watching the events as they unfolded; to this day the video images of those events and days are too painful to watch again.
