My afternoon chore- what was yours?

Injector pump job on a 1980 Case 480D Loader Landscape “Construction King”. If I was really a decent wrench I’d rebuild it myself for around $95, but I’m not brave enough so I’m having it rebuilt for $850

Second pic shows the timing marks on the gears with the marks on the pump properly aligned. Has me a bit concerned??? Its obviously been apart before - Ive only had it for 23 years....

Football.

Tomorrow I finish installing a new (used) hydraulic jack.

I think I ruined the jack when I was on to step of a slope.

Rebuilt an old Bird Feeder I originally made 4 yrs ago
*Weather beat it up so it needed a new roof

Rehung the double swing gates across one driveway for better clearance
Rehung 20' slider gate across the other driveway cause it was squeaking/getter hard to roll

It appears that you are one tooth off, the far right gear needs to be a tooth counterclockwise lower. On the other hand, it could be the camera angle making it look this way, perhaps a picture direct on would be of value. ~CA

yeah, it was one tooth off with the marks on the pump aligned correctly. This was the first time Ive had it apart in the 20+ years Ive owned it so I bought it that way. Not sure if I should put it back the way it was, or do it the way it “should” be. It ran that way just fine. I’ll ask about it when I drop off the pump.

After we glued the trim on the ceiling, cleaned filters for the AC/heat pump, we went to the Quartzsite Yacht Club and became members. Had a great meal and washed it down with Amber Boch. So much for chores.

Flywheel at 8 deg. #1 cylinder has both valves closed and the marks in the pump window line up, the marks on the gear may not mean much.

I guess I’ll have to do it that way to make sure rather than just put it back together the way it was. The marks in the pump window were lined up when I pulled it. Then I pulled the gear cover and saw those marks which was my cause for concern.

Raking & mulching leaves. I love Fall, but I don't love the aftermath.

Because I can't run my lawnmower in my flower beds, where the leaves collect amongst the bushes & perennials.

Afternoon chore?

I'm going surf fishing. Leave in about 20 minutes. If lucky, might even catch something.

Power nap when I get back later today. Climbing over those dunes to get to the beach is tiring.
