Need help with a trailer!

I am gonna buy a trailer that is a felling ft10L series 10,000 gvwr rating trailer. The rear axle is broke and needs to be replaced.

What kind of trailer lbs axle do I need? Does it work like the axle needs to be equal to the gvwr rating? I have no idea. I dont know what kind of axles are on the trailer now, please help!

Well, they identify axles by the bearing numbers and brake size, but shouldn't be hard to find one.....google E Trailer with all the info....they might also ask for axle diam.....

Tb,
Trailer axles are all rated by weight. You will have a sort of VIN plate somewhere on that trailer that will have important specs on it. It should divulge which axles you have.
