New TV?

We have a 60” Vizio flat screen that is fairly “smart”. It was purchased in around 2013 and has Netflix and youtube apps and a few others. It does not have prime video app. That is what I wish to watch some now. Since it does not have the prime app and according to Vizio CS it cannot be added, and it does not have a internet browser either, is there a simple add on or plug in that could be a work around?

If you have wifi available in your coach even if tv has no browser you can get the amazon fire stick. You would need to be a prime member.

The Firestick uses one of the HDMI PORTS on the back of the tv.

Roku is another option, plugs into an available HDMI port.

Fire Stick or Roku will be better than a smart TV. They are regularly updated. Smart TVs are not.

Thanks folks, I have ordered a fire stick. Much cheaper than a new tv! Thx again.

Thanks to the replies on this forum, I installed my new fire stick yesterday. Wow! Yes I can now stream Prime video which is why I bought it, but soooo much more I never expected. Alexa, looks like it has a internet browser, although I have not tried it yet, and many, many other apps and stuff I am still sorting through.

Thanks guys!
