Hope I can pick your brain after you take delivery. We're trying to fashion a long term plan for our RV'ing addiction that started a little more than 5 years ago when we purchased a 5th wheel. We realize that there are some (ok lots) shortcomings to our 5th wheel...and are looking for a pleasurable replacement that will continue to serve our needs now and well into retirement.
The 4316 is at the top of our list. We're just starting to try to figure out budget, etc...to purchase, insure, and properly maintain a Motorcoach of it's calibre.
We love our GrandDaughter...and also like to ride road bikes (bicycles). We're hoping to modify the bunkhouse arrangement by installing a happijac bed lift...so that the bunks can raise toward the ceiling when not being used...and the space underneath can accommodate our carbon road bikes. Flip the switch and Aubrey's space will be available.
Love the features,,, Comfort Steer, passive tag axle, Cummin Diesel, Oasis heater, 3 a/c's with energy management, ergonomic Captains console, all electric models, induction cooking surface, convection/microwave...and it just looks amazingly beautiful inside and out. (From pictures we've seen) I think it will provide a most pleasurable experience both driving and hanging around the campground.
We do have concerns about loosing access to some campgrounds and campsites...but I don't think a longer 5th wheel with a bunkhouse or toy hauler garage really appeals to us much. It's got to be easier to park a 43' Class A vs a 40-42' 5th wheel.
Cheers to you on your order...I hope you love the new Motorcoach!
