I'm sorry if I offended any good Texas people. I didn't mean to put it that way.

I think Sleaze Ball just about covers it. I should find a way to get GF to pay the debt. She should have warned me what a con artist he is.

I guess you can call it karma for the fact the the rich dentist woman he married in Columbia, divorced him after she realized that he was just out to get her money.

I'm too busy and lazy to figure out how much he owes me @ $50.00/month since 1/1/04, starting with $3,100. Close to $5,000 by a rough guesstimate. That's a lot of gas.

Most states have a means of expunging an arrest from your record. If you plan on getting a lawyer to go after this guy, or even if you want to go after him in small claims court, I would suggest getting back with that lawyer, figure out how long it will take to get the record expunged and the cost. Then as part of the suit to recover your damages, make that part of the costs incurred. Damages should also include payment for the time you spent attempting to do the job, time you spent in jail and going to court, and any expenses related.

I too disagree with those who say just let it go. The problem with that is that if bad behavior has no consequences the idiot will continue using that sort of behavior on anyone he has a snit with.

Thay is why I say Karma is good. Even better when you are the one who delivers the karma.
