I was generalizing the poor reporting done today. It sounded more like her fastest ride was a merry-go-round. Every channel has a different version of Boston. What to believe?

To make a long story short.
North Korea will not do anything without China O.K.
From someone who has been their.
Just a thought.

If you would read the paper or go on line you would still be busy reading all about North Korea and what they want.
Like everyone Else we only know what we read or see or hear.
But that does not mean we believe everything we hear.
I was in the Marines in 1950 spent 13 months their.
Just a thought.

Terry thanks for your service and I don't doubt you have a much better understanding of the region than I do. I would hope things there are significantly different than they were 63 years ago tho.
I would bet you have some great stories I would enjoy hearing as I love hearing about how things were from the 20s thru the 50s

What you get here will be more accurate. Just last night a New York newscaster reporting on the heat wave stated that the power lines were sagging because of the heavy power usage. HUH????

You might want to choose another example of our superiority, accuracy-wise...at least according to the Bonneville Power Administration, power lines DO sag under heavy use!

X2...and I'd add that while the equations/environment may be different, it is just as dangerous place along the DMZ as when we still had people being killed in the 1970s, when I was there.

Who would have thought?
I did learn from an engineer that train tracks can distort enough in high heat to cause a derailment!
But I will still believe us RV people first when it comes to things about RVs. After all, we are "living it."

Ab-o-slute-ly right!
Also...Don't believe any words that come out of this particular newscaster's mouth - she'll read ANYTHING!

Yikes! "Video removed by the user"!
I wonder if they're all gone...it was the one where the newslady got hornswoggled by her backroom boys- they made up four bogus "names of the Asiana pilots" from that crash a few weeks ago and she read them all off without so much as an eyeblink- hilarious!
Went viral on Youtube, but I did hear that the station was getting sued for "defamation" or something...maybe the lawyers got it taken down. Sorry you missed it!

I'm not sure who discovered water, but I'm certain it wasn't a fish.
