Old Movie

The guy in the site across the road from us that I've been talking with brought me over a movie to watch.

The Long Long Trailer. Desi Arnaz, and Lucille Ball.

I believe it should be mandatory watching for all would be new trailer purchasers. :-)

Just watched it a few weeks back on DirecTV. That trailer is in the hall of fame in Elkart Indiana. ( it was last June )

I was thinking how trailers haven't really evolved as fast as other things have. I loved seeing all the old trailers.

My neighbor that lent the movie to me had a sense of humor. Our 5er is 43 ft long. I think we may have found a new name for her. Lol :what:

Yup,
I show this movie to my wife before every trip to discourage her from over packing.

Hasn't worked yet, we carry more stuff they you could imagine.

I've watched that movie many times. Found that my son had ordered himself a DVD of it also. Classic movie. Glad I could pass on good movie taste to the next generations!

I've read that when they started filming, their car was a Mercury...but it couldn't pull the trailer up the mountain passes so they swapped it out for a Lincoln. In one shot rounding a curve, the distinctly different grill of the Lincoln can be seen clearly.
