Oregon Fuel

Oregon has finally turned the gas/diesel pumps loose.....now customers can pump their own.....at least for a couple weeks...

They could not do this in New Jersey! Too involved with shopping in the store or yacking/playing on their cell phone!

DW said something about this this morning, but she said the powers to be were thinking about this.

If so I'm going to avoid going to get gas as long as I can. Have you ever seen an Oregonian try to pump their own gas?

I guess my grass is going to get rather long this spring.

When we travel through Oregon, I don't mind them pumping fuel in my truck, but I never allow them to do it in my RV. The first time I did, the shoved the nozzle into my custom paint versus the fuel filler.

Well I’m from Oregon and I have no problem pumping my own gas/diesel as I have done it myself for over 30 years, I have always has a commercial Pacific Pride account What many do not know, in Oregon it is perfectly legal to pump your own diesel, it’s only gas that you can’t pump. Some stations will try and stop you but I would go someplace else if they wouldn’t.
