Pacemakers

Was informed today that I need a pacemaker.
Was wondering if anyone that wears a pacemaker has any problems with electrical power hook ups.

I’m scheduled for one Monday but my DW has had one for 1 1/2 years. The new ones are impervious to most everything. I don’t think we’ll have any problems but for sure check with your doctor.
Shiny side up!

I have a friend with one and he can't be around welders. I don't think hooking up an RV would be a problem. If the breaker is off before you plug in then turn on. Ask your Doctor.

Best to ask your Doctor and explain the method you use to hook up. I think you will be fine.

I have had a pacemaker almost 10 years. I have never had any issues while camping. Life is so much better, now. Really, I never even have to think about it.

Watch out for chainsaws , airport metal detectors, and strong magnets.

I have had a pacemaker/ICD for 15 yrs and never had a problem. It does not set off metal detectors and is okay to be around magnets. Even rare earth magnets. I just don't hug them. Never had any issue hooking up electricity at a CG. Once you heal up you won't even know you have one.

Good luck with the implant.
