With all the bad stuff going on let’s post some good. I have 2 sons both married and very successful, don’t have grand kids yet hopefully in the works. Youngest now 30 was a golf cart forum moderator at 14 and loves camping.

My son passed his Eagle Board of Review and advanced to the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts of America in January. His Eagle project was installing a handicap ramp at our local Legion Post.

He has also decided to "give back" to his troop.. Even though he has "aged out" (became 18 yrs old).. He has decided to stay with his Troop thru the end of this School year and is becoming the Assistant Scoutmaster.. He felt it was important for the newer/younger Scouts to see "older" Scouts participating in and attending Troop meetings every week.

I could not be more proud of my son !!

Congrats oakcreekeric! My husband was an Eagle Scout. He worked so hard for that. It helped him in our younger years get jobs too.

Many of our great leaders in our country were eagle scouts! Mike
