Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.

Never take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Technically, alcohol is a solution.

If two people are in an elevator and one person farts, everyone knows who did it. (from George Carlin)

Gotta love George Carlin!

I have always wondered who the heck "they" are.

If you don't know where you are going any road you take will get you there.

There is no limit to my wife's energy as long as I'm doing the work.

My dad told me to get a lot when you're young.
I thought he was talking about real estate!

My mother cooked like a Greek Goddess, we got three burnt offerings a day!

A lot of these remind me of the late, great Lewis Grizzard, a southern humorist much in the vein of Mark Twain.

"I know lots of people educated far beyond their intelligence."

"In the south there's a difference between 'Naked' and 'Nekkid.' 'Naked' means you don't have any clothes on. 'Nekkid' means you don't have any clothes on and you're up to somethin'."

"The only way that I could figure they could improve upon Coca-Cola, one of life's most delightful elixirs, which studies prove will heal the sick and occasionally raise the dead, is to put bourbon in it.

"The game of life is a lot like football. You have to tackle your problems, block your fears, and score your points when you get the opportunity."

"Instead of getting married again, I'm going to find a woman I don't like and give her a house."

And, of course, one of my all time favorites...... "Life is like a dogsled race. If you ain't the lead dog, the scenery never changes."
