If you can keep your head while every one around you is losing theirs, then you've underestimated the situation

Speaking of mom's, there's mine: "Troy, Joel... um.. Bobby... Oh, who are you again!?!"

Speaking of daughters: "Shady Pines, mom... Shady Pines!" (Gotta love Golden Girls)

The reason that you always have a surplus of coat hangers, but can never find a bottle opener when you need one, is that the bottle opener is the larval stage of the coat hanger.

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit not a vegetable.
Wisdom is not putting a tomato in fruit salad.
Philosophy is deciding if ketchup is really a fruit smoothie.

I thought socks were the larval form of wire coat hangers - somehow they travel, maybe through another dimension, from the dryer to the closet, undergoing metamorphosis along the way - all unseen by human eyes - or maybe by any eyes - might even be a quantum change, going from one time/place/form to another instantaneously without ever being in the time/space/form in between the dryer and the closet.
