There is a sci-go short story about a doctor who discovers a method to determine when someone will die and presents this method at a general meeting of other doctors. While they don’t believe him he says he will prove it by measuring every doctor in the meeting and determining their death date.

When that is completed the collected dates and names are stored in a safe place and the doctor leaves the meeting while the others discuss the process. While crossing a street in front of the meeting the doctor is hit by a car. Everyone looks at the death date for him, sees it is today and they destroy the documentation of the method.

Same idea, but only about 5 pages.

In 1983 the Chairman of the National Commission on Education, Glenn T. Seaborg, was so disgusted with the state of the educational system of the USA he wrote "If a foreign nation had imposed this system of education on the United States we would rightly consider it an act of war."

It's no better today.

A long, long time ago, I was a RE Agent in California. Our Broker bought the office tickets to go to one of Zig's seminars. He definitely was one of the good ones!
