I was told "you'll never play the game if you don't suit up and show up." It's amazing how many things a person can help with, work out, or end up in charge of simply by attending meetings and saying "yes" when the call for help comes.

I tell people about my job, "They didn't ask if I knew what I was doing, they just asked if I were willing to do it. I messed up and said 'yes'!
