If it is too good to be true - it probably is!
If they say it is not about the money or power - it probably is!
Why is it rich businesses are all for redistribution of wealth?

On today's BBC Africa Live page their proverb of the day is from Nigeria:
"The lizard would like to stand erect, but his tail will not permit him."
Yeah, it must mean something to a Nigerian but I have no clue.
It is worthy of a chuckle.

Cuban proverb my parents told me:
If your neighbor's beard catches on fire, wet yours down.
it may lose a little in the translation.

Quality is rather like buying oats. If you want clean fresh oats then you must be prepared to pay a fair price. However if you are satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse, then these come a little cheaper.
Sourse unknown but has been one of my favourites for many years.
