When a clown moves into a palace, the clown does not become a king, but the palace becomes a circus.

THE BUDDHA WAS ASKED "WHAT IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE WE MAKE IN LIFE?

THE BUDDHA REPLIED:

“THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IS, YOU THINK VOU HAVE TIME.
TIME IS FREE, BUT PRICELESS.
YOU CAN'T OWN IT,
BUT YOU CAN USE IT.
YOU CAN’T KEEP IT,
BUT YOU CAN SPEND IT.
AND ONCE IT IS LOST,
YOU CAN NEVER GET IT BACK.”

Mike

To suppose that any form of government will secure liberty or happiness without any virtue in the people is a chimerical idea. ~James Madison

..., the idea that all bad acting which takes place in society is the responsibility of those providing the raw material and not of those doing the acting is an idea that will undermine the entire strength and will of our culture over time. Such a view of moral agency overturns traditional values and makes victims of perpetrators. ~David L. Bahnsen

“It is a well-documented fact that guys will not ask for directions. This is a biological thing. This is why it takes several million sperm cells... to locate a female egg, despite the fact that the egg is, relative to them, the size of Wisconsin.”

If we could fully grasp two truths, the scam that higher education has become would die: (1) a college degree doesn't guarantee success, and (2) not having a college degree doesn't guarantee failure. Inverting those two statements is what has fed the current college monster. ~David L. Bahnsen
