Barb - follow Tims advice and occasionally feel the plug and cord. As hot as it is out, they will feel warm anyway - but hot is another story. You will know hot vs warm I suspect.

My B-van was 30 amp - ran A/C on 20 with adapter many times and for week or so at a time. Never had an issue. Somewhere around here I have a table of amps by appliance but needless to say, you should be fine. Make sure both plug and adapter looking good - no pits - crud etc. and you will be cool and fine!

Off to get some sushi - sashimi - or rolls or D all of the above!

Well, shucky darn! Wayne you're right! I just tried it and it works!! I owe you one. I'm running A/C and the frig and we are cool!
Yeah! I know! Checks in the mail, right? You'll be fine with the AC and Fridge. As the other guru's stated it won't hurt to check the plug at the receptacle box once when it has been running for a while. Warm to the touch is okay. Really hot is not so good.

A hot plug means the current draw is to high for the cable but with a 30 amp cord and 20 amp adapter I'll wager all will be fine. Don't load it down with lot of other appliances and lights. If you want to make coffee, turn the AC off until the coffee is done. Same with microwave and other appliances. One at a time and 20 am should do okay.

When I lived in Ontario, due south of Detroit we used to spend an inordinate amount of time in Ohio and PA. When Denise and I travelled east to NY and got married (White Inn Fredonia NY) we went south to train ride for our honeymoon.

Needless to say PA is a train watching/riding heaven. Especially if you like STEAM powered railroads.

Jeff, we have been perpetual tourists of the East coast for 25 years. We know much about what to see and what to avoid.

One knows the Rainbow is near for a STM, when traveling for "W" and headed to the elevator in yet another hotel, the elevator door opens and you are greeted by the aromatic aroma of hickory smoked bacon. I quickly looked to see who was leading in an unannounced GBC, but no Mutants were spotted.
