We are canoeing in AR this weekend--did an 8-hr float on the Caddo River yesterday. I think today will be a hang-out-at-the-campsite-and-rest day.

You do see some interesting people on the river in AR. I think we saw some guys noodling, and I'm quite sure we saw a couple skinny-dipping! Maybe they were mutants (don't have swimsuits/don't miss them)???

RVM4, returning to the land of no cell service :(

Sarah. In your recent post concerning your sofa replacement and widow treatment modifications, ...
Oh, my. I've been singled out...in more ways than one. My hubby is chagrined to hear of my "widow treatment."

Looks beautiful. I think I could do without the noodling, however.

My bad Sarah - it was the collective "your" and should have been y'alls. Now while is fresh in your mind, say - I don't have ~ 4" of lambriquins and don't miss them. I am an RVM39 - or not. Either way - thanks for the great service you do here and for stopping by RVM Central.

I was referring to "widow" as opposed to "window", but ok. I'm holding out to be RVM40. Where's Cliff??

"Noodling" is a term common to serious woodcutting folks, we use our chainsaws and cut a piece of log lengthwise (usually because it won't split) thus creating long shavings of wood called "noodles".

I must be a mutatatant if I don't know any other meanings of the word.

1978 Executive 29' class A MH that might be worth fixing up to drive and use. Three four wheel drives, an off grid rock house, some chainsaws, and a screwball cat.

Wade in water. Stick bare hand in Underwater hole in bank. Put hand in giant catfish mouth. Pull fish out. Skin it. Fry it. Yum.

Return home in time for fried alligator. Wear alligator boots, belt and hatband as symbol of achievement.
