Sorry Steve... I was out at a fund raising event for the non profit I work for....I don't like those things at all.... wish it weren't a part of my job requirements....but a necessary thing. However... My Bob looked dashing in his suit tonight!

Three cheers for new retirees!!! Hip hip ....!!! Bouquets and a standing ovation for perseverance, planning and fortitude! May you draw your pensions longer than you drew a paycheck. (That's Martin's goal.)
Count us in for CL. I've PMd Herb. April seems so far off now, but there is Rockport to look forward to in the meantime, and who knows how many mini-Cs.
We've started packing the Bella Rigatoni already. And ... AND ... we have a new kayak rack! One that I can load and unload by myself! I'm so excited! It's a Hullavator that lifts up to 40# of the boat's weight and also lets it down gently.
Carry on y'all, and I'll wander off to bed soon, hoping to dream of kayaks and kimonos and, and, uh, no, not karaoke! 🙉
Oh, and welcome, Clay and Pebble, to the madness! Looking forward to meeting you somewhere, sometime on the rainbow.
Cheers!
Sue

Got to put in my request for time off "W", but shouldn't be a problem. Not sure what site yet, but let me get the 'OK' first and we will fill in down the line somewhere. Got to be there in time to watch the 'Newbee' try and find the curbs. I hear he has a good sense for that.
Welcome RVM95.
Mel, Mel, Mel........ Tell us the GREAT NEWS already!!!!!!

New-to-us motorhome
Well, folks, Kate & I will be making the trip to CL in our 2000 Fleetwood Discovery 37G coach! Thanks to Wayne and Earlene for taking the time to drive down to Galveston to look it over thoroughly and giving it a test drive. Out of all the coaches I looked at, this one seemed to be in the best overall condition. It will need 2 new tires right away and will need the other 4 replaced in 1-2 years, according to Wayne and the DOT.
Herb & Barb looked at one in Ft. Worth for us, but it was 2 years older, needed 6 new tires right away and was priced considerably higher than the Galveston coach. I really loved the floor plan on that one (a Discovery 37T), but we like the 37G, too.
We will pick it up Friday, 10-17, at noon. I have already secured a covered storage unit that is only about 2 miles from our home. A friend has her 40' 5th wheel trailer at this storage facility and speaks highly of the owners, who live on site. There is a dump station and power-wash station there.
So, Mutants, we'll be joining you at CL in April! We're jazzed!!!
Mel

We are Sooo Happy for you.
You are the second to join us and then find your coach. Mike and Harriet were first. They check in now and again. Maybe they will make the Spring Into Mutation Celebration too.
