Ok. Cataracts removed at age 39. Have corrective lens implants, now need bifocals. So how many is that good for?

Eek... legs, arms, hips, eyes. We could build a better mutant with the parts we've discarded, replaced or worn out... the problems of growing old are all better than the alternative! Keep on living mutants! It's the mutant way.

Yep. I grew up near Wayne on the Gulf Coast. My experience with humidity goes way back...
And I'm OK with the monthly defrost or less (hopefully)... but I am thinking about a residential install. I do have the Amish cooling unit installed on the 1210 - and wonder about trying this...

As stated, the card doesn't impress them at all. However, if you are in line and there is a side line, flag them down and tell them you have knee implants. They will take you aside and wand you. Might even get a free feelie.

Ya'll quiturbellyachin. There is an alternative to getting old and I don't thin any one would like it.

Yesterday was the ride to vegetable farm, then a store, and on the way we got some gas. The gas pictures is a stand alone, but all the other pictures are separate from each other with different sausages.

Stanton's in Alvin, Texas.

How many pounds are you brining to GC 1.2 Redux... and we may just have to come up there for a visit... that's some fine looking snausages...

We are planning to head west next season, too, but haven't finalized anything yet. Tired of FL bugs after 4 years here. The natural flora & fauna in this state, I'm told, either stings, sticks, or stinks. True dat! (Perhaps with the exception of manatees.)

AZ and a GC II will definitely be in our planning. No question.
Don't forget those house-eating, RV-gobbling, purple-people-eating SINK HOLES. I just watched a documentary on sink holes. Florida is a virtual honeycomb. The entire state could cave in! Get the heck outta there!

Mel,

I propose a side bet. I bet Florida sinks before Vancouver Island gets hit with the big one. How much are you wanting to wager?

Ha I've got some beach front property here in Arkansas, can make you a good deal! It's kind of a work in progress, the beach will come as soon as the " New Madrid Fault" makes its big move and the Mississippi River becomes the new East Coast! Get it while it's cheap!

Y'all are the best! It's why I got on here yesterday. I thought to myself "I have got to shake this attitude before my family buries me in the backyard..." And then I thought of the mutants. Today I'm using all the ooommmsss, probiotics and likely some late afternoon alcohol to shake this crabby patty moment. Having a jumbo shrimp boil at our camper later to say bye to our friends here. Can't wait to see what our sticks and bricks friends think of good ol' 1-ply when they need to use the bathroom.
In other news, our daughter Morgan finally taught herself how to whistle so every time she woke up in the night she had to whistle the next line of "on top of spaghetti..." The dogs loved it. A 5-year-old Whistling has an added bonus in an RV. That's going in the next blog. Btw- y'all keep talking about little boys and missing them. My dad always said my sister and I acted so rotten we were the sons he always wanted and never had.
Wasn't it tales from Lake Wobegon that said welcome to our hOme where the men are strong, the women beautiful and all our children are above average? Well Canton, Ga (my hometown) boasts it's where the men are men and the women are too. Haha. Yall are the best!

I had multifocal lens implants installed when the cataracts were removed. One eye is set for distance and near, the other for distance and mid-range (as in computer screen viewing). Only need glasses for the tiny print. So how do I count? Oh, and I have soft contacts that correct my astigmatism, tho I rarely wear them.
