Are they building a bigger mall or what?
Heck of a pile of excavated material in the back ground.

DW and I use the campground facilities if they are worthy of use. Most of the serviced campgrounds we frequent have very clean shower facilities. Our favorite lower mainland place has wonderful amenities but they don't have sewer hookups at each site so you have to move to the sanidump if you need tanks emptied. Too easy to walk to the showers to do ablutions.

I went to go check out that park cuz it looked interesting. That pic is from the web site itself. At first I thought maybe Mel took it. I was also curious about those things scattered around the area, they look solar in nature but it's hard to tell in the pic. Oh, maybe it's just shading for tables? Must be getting late...

MPH,
Goodnight!
Like the looks of the campground. Will have to mark that in the book since it's not too far from my sister. She could come stay with us for a few days out there.
Have a great day all! Lynne

Now Tim. Be smart, go online and search for credit card generator and make your own number and give us a rest.

CC's don't have a pin, but debit cards do. My favorite pin is 1234. Easy to remember.

We never stayed "in the canyon" but we stayed 30 miles away and visited it. They have a fantastic out doors play, and at the time it was called "Texas." A great performance and worth seeing.
Trust me. The road going in and coming out is very, very narrow and steep; 10% grade.
Beautiful area. However, when it rains hard it get's muddy and the mud has to be moved from the roads before travel is permitted. Also, flood gauge indicators are present and must be observed. Wash outs do occur. Follow State Park recommendations on travel.
Remember, it is the journey.

Gotta chime in real quick on the shower thingy....
I much prefer to use ours in the MH. However, we have used CG facilities when I broke our shower door, which were very well maintained and clean. If all things being equal, I'd use ours every time, just cuz I can.

ok... on the shower thing... Bob generally uses the one in the Motor home... I am not as picky... as like Di, I have tent camped a lot and when my parents had a camper, they never used the shower if a campground had one... too much family in too little of a camper so we all used the campground facilities and only the camper if we couldn't make it or middle of the night can't waits... however, it involved waking up someone to get into the door...LOL! When I loose about 50 more pounds... I suspect getting a really good shower will be easier in my little 'squrit shower gel on the walls... get wet, twirl 3 three times to the right, 3 times to the left, and rinse all thoroughly to have a clean body and bathroom' type shower. However, I imgaine by that time... I will have upgraded a little to a larger bathroom and different layout Motorhome.

The Dogpatch's are abstaining at the moment.
But when my eyes open.....look out!
Just kidding! Having a cup of Joe, staring at the ocean and watching the whales breach again. They come right out of the water and slam the ocean on their sides. The sound takes a few seconds to reach shore and sounds a little like a jet breaking the sound barrier or sonic boom.
I could get used to this.....My pocket book however, wouldn't fair too well though. LOL
Strange thing about Maui is it's cheaper to eat out than it is to buy all the ingredients to make a meal! Here's an example. A pound of butter here is $6.20. Bottle of good wine is $4.99
Booze is dirt cheap.....thus all the happy times!
Drink enough and you forget to eat. Forced diet.
It's all good!
Les in Maui.....out.
