You asked for it...

The turkey vultures of Rope Light Gulch had the habit of plopping themselves down on any empty picnic table in the campground. They'd sit there leering at you, just waiting for a scap of food to hit the ground. They were tame for the most part but they had a look about them that said, "Don't mess us brother."

Lets not forget, front window display for the GC!

I guarantee a fence in my window! Might be a rope light too!

Why d'ya think I asked which way we'd be parked? Front window or hangin off the rear ladder?

Not that I have actually come up with anything....

Sue from your campsite your front door will be facing the pavillion.

My windshield will be facing the other way but I figure the curious might make the walk around to the front to see my fence!

If you only knew how I wish we could be there. Right now we keep track and help out my 91 yr old dad so our travels are short distances. We are seriously considering UT later this summer and of course McCall. We have a trip planned to met my daughter & two grandsons in Yellowstone in July for a week. The daughter lives in SC.

It is the same rainbow. We saw one part of it on our road and when we turned the corner we realized it was a full rainbow so we took a pic of the other side. It was too close to get the whole rainbow in one pic. So imagine them put together.

It's about time for us to get our fences up around here before the range cattle are brought up. We drop our barbed wire to the ground each fall and then put it back up each spring. We have it set up so we just pull a wire that goes through all the staples on the post to drop it. Easy peezy! It keeps the grader from messing them up -at least the ones along the county road. The deer or elk usually take some out each year so there is always some to repair.

Did everyone get the e-mail from Catherin's Landing this morning? I called my buddy with the Hot Springs PD to confirm what happen. If you didn't here is the gest of the story. A major natural gas line that runs to the Hot Springs area has exploded and caused a major shutdown of the city. The explosion was in the area of CL and they have been evacuated from there premises until further notice. The e Mail said refunds would be honored but expect to be out for 2-3 weeks. I'll call around looking for a new venue for the GC and call you sone Steve!
